Independent Matching

This is what PlumGirl did when she was playing independently this afternoon:


I think this means that she is ready to learn about matching more formally, the problem I am having is getting her to do it (or anything) with materials that I have designed for matching.  My plan is just to keep introducing and modeling color matching activities so that she know what she wants to do when she wants to do it.  My next step is making some cards for this puzzle board as the ones that came with it are too complicated for her.

    Where did you find this Peg Board? I think I see that it’s M&D? I think Ty would love this.
