Nature in a Bottle

June 11, 2011

PlumGirl really loves the sensory tubes that are at our local Children’s Museum. She loves them so much, that I decided to make my own. When I was planning the project, though, I decided that I did not want to use the bright, artificially colored object that were in their tubes. I wanted to capture bits of nature to fill my bottles. I did some brain storming, then walked around some craft stores, and I really like what I came up with.

Air and Water: I just mixed a little bit of dish soap in with the water to make bubbles for my air.

Beach: Filled with sand, beach glass, and shells.
